Most of these Preludes were composed in 201 3-1 4, around the time of the birth of our first child Edie, and the set is dedicated to her. They contain echoes of - and homages to - the many pianist-composers who have influenced me, including Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Scriabin, Prokofiev and Stravinsky.
